Furniture & White Goods Loans

Did your dryer just decide to give up? Or maybe the cat has clawed your couch within an inch of its life? If you need some new appliances or furniture around the house, you may not have the money set aside for it…which is where our furniture loans and white goods loans come in handy!

Our small loans of up to $2,000 are perfect for purchasing a new dining room setup, refrigerator, or just about anything you need around the home. We also offer loans for home renovations if you need to spruce up around the home!

Furniture Loans For Bad Credit

We believe that less than desirable credit shouldn't inhibit your ability to take out a personal loan for furniture or white goods. After all, sometimes all you need to do is forget a few bills, and your credit score is suddenly looking a little worse for wear. At Sunshine Loans, we consider each applicant's unique situation before making a final decision on whether they are eligible for a loan.

How Much Can I Borrow?

If you require a personal loan for furniture or white goods, you can expect to be able to borrow up to $2,000 from us here at Sunshine Loans. We do however encourage you to borrow responsibly, so as to not over-burden yourself with debt you cannot afford. If you find that you require more money in the future, you can of course re-apply for a loan, provided you have paid down your existing loan first.

Loan Eligibility & Costs

Individuals looking to take out a furniture loan will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You must be aged 18 years or older.
  • You should receive $600 a week ($1200 a fortnight) take home pay. This income can come from a part-time or full-time job and government benefits (e.g. Centrelink), but cannot solely come from government benefits. These payments should be visible on your bank statements.
  • You should be able to satisfy us that you will be able to repay the loan comfortably, without the risk of putting yourself in further debt.

Whether you borrow $150 or $2,000, here's what you can expect to pay for your loan.

  • An establishment fee of 20% of the amount borrowed.
  • Monthly loan fee is 4% of the amount borrowed.
  • Our loan repayment terms generally run for a period of 9 weeks, but you can pay out early at any time. We will not penalise you for paying out your loan early.

We keep it simple and charge flat fees. For more information, visit our loan costs and fees webpages.

FAQs

How long does it take to receive approval?

Our turnaround time is generally 24 hours, but usually less. We accept and approve loan applications during normal business hours (9:00am to 4:00pm QLD time). If your loan is approved during this time, the funds will be transferred to your account on the same day. However, sometimes banking processes can add a bit of a delay. If so, you can expect your funds the following day.

Do you carry out credit checks?

As part of our responsible lending practices, we assess your credit score when you apply for a loan in order to determine that it's suited to you. But don't worry – that doesn't mean you'll be knocked back!

What if I am unemployed or on the pension?

If you are currently earning money through Centrelink (or other government aid) or a pension without the support of additional funds (e.g. part-time work), we are unfortunately not able to offer you a loan. Take a look at our Centrelink loans instead, or contact us to see what your options are.

What happens if I can't pay on time?

If you are unable to make repayments on your loan in time, please get in touch as soon as possible via Customer Support. We may be able to reschedule your repayment dates or make other arrangements.
